This idea that there are no Indian actors who are talented, who have the “spark”, who could have made the character “sympathetic and relatable”, or hell have “cheekbones” is racist.

What people, and this includes PoC, don’t realize is, that this same thought process is why many actors of color don’t get roles. Even character of color roles.

Except for the part where “YOU” is waving a whole bunch of guns around without regard to where the barrel is pointing, frequently resorts to threatening gun violence to end conversations that “YOU” doesn’t like the direction of, is prone to occasionally go on mass shootings, and has planned an armed insurrection disguised as a “peaceful protest.” And “The State” is being asked to act by and on behalf of a whole bunch of other “YOU” who are tired of living with “YOU“‘s bullshit and random threats.

If gun owners want other people to start believing that gun owners are on the same side, and not a bunch of violent yahoos trying to get their way on everything, perhaps gun owners should stop ACTING like a bunch of violent yahoos trying to get their way on everything.
